Notice of the IBA clg AGM 2021

The 2021 AGM of IBA clg will be held at 7:30pm on Friday October 15th 2021 via Zoom conferencing ( formal notice with agenda  and zoom details will follow at a later date).

The Board of Directors of IBA clg have reviewed the latest guidance from government on conferences etc and have decided that regrettably, our preferred choice of an ‘in-person’ meeting cannot proceed and we must, convene via Zoom conferencing.


General Meetings:

All members have a right to attend the AGM.

The following number of voting delegates may be appointed by local Associations pro rata membership as follows.:

  • Affiliated Association with 10 and no more than 29 members may nominate 2 delagates.
  • Affiliated Association with 30 and no more than 49 members may nominate 3 delegates.
  • Affiliated Association with 50 or more members may nominate 4 delegates.
  • Members ( independent) who are not members of  an Affiliated Association may nominate 2 delegates.

The names of delegates nominated for voting at the AGM must be notified to the Company Secretary to arrive no less than four 4 calendar days before the day of the annual general meeting. The final date of receipt of notification is October 11th 2021.

Election and Rotation of Directors:

Affiliated Associations are entitled to nominate members for election to the Board.

Three (3) of the current seven (7) directors are retiring after three years as directors and are not seeking re- election. It is thus essential that new candidates for directorships are nominated by local associations.

Nominations must be submitted by Affiliated Associations to the Company Secretary by October 5th. 2021.

Motions and Resolutions:

Please submit motions and resolutions to the Company Secretary by October 5th. 2021  for consideration at the AGM.
